Biography:
Andreia G. Rosa is an Associate at Cary Kane. She practices in the area of Employee Benefits Law. She is licensed to practice in New York.
Prior to joining Cary Kane, Ms. Rosa worked as a Benefits Advisor for the U.S. Department of Labor, Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) while simultaneously pursuing her studies at The John Marshall Law School in Chicago. During her time at EBSA, she focused mainly on COBRA matters, assisting individuals who were appealing denials of the COBRA subsidy.
She graduated from the John Marshall Law School in 2011 with a J.D. and LL.M. in Employee Benefits. While in school, she became a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association’s Mock Trial Team. She completed an externship with the Honorable Jesse G. Reyes, Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, and she served as law clerk to the Honorable Edmund Ponce de Leon, Presiding Judge County Division, Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois. Ms. Rosa received her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University where she majored in Political Science and Middle Eastern Studies. She was born in Portugal and is fluent in Portuguese.
